एकं हन्यान्न वा हन्यादिषुर्मुक्तो धनुष्मता। बुद्धिर्बुद्धिमतोत्सृष्टा हन्याद् राष्ट्रं सराजकम् ॥
English – When an archer releases an arrow, that arrow may or may not kill someone, but when a wise man takes a wrong decision, it can lead to the destruction of the whole nation including the king.
Hindi – कोई धनुर्धर जब बाण छोड़ता है तो सकता है कि वह बाण किसी को मार दे या न भी मारे, लेकिन जब एक बुद्धिमान कोई गलत निर्णय लेता है तो उससे राजा सहित संपूर्ण राष्ट्र का विनाश हो सकता है ।
Kannada – ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗಾರನು ಬಾಣವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಾಗ, ಆ ಬಾಣವು ಯಾರನ್ನಾದರೂ ಕೊಲ್ಲಬಹುದು ಅಥವಾ ಕೊಲ್ಲದೇ ಇರಬಹುದು, ಆದರೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತನು ತಪ್ಪು ನಿರ್ಧಾರವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಾಗ, ಅದು ರಾಜನನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಂತೆ ಇಡೀ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ನಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಬಹುದು.
Sanskrit – यदा धनुर्धरः बाणं मुञ्चति तदा सः बाणः कस्यचित् वधं कर्तुं शक्नोति वा न वा, परन्तु यदा बुधः दोषपूर्णं निर्णयं करोति तदा तस्य कारणेन राजासहितस्य समग्रस्य राष्ट्रस्य विनाशः भवितुम् अर्हति
